About the show
Fronted by Dave Grohl, Foo Fighters have been one of the world’s biggest rock bands for three decades, yet they had never played India until this tour. The Mumbai show follows a Bengaluru date on 29 January 2027, and it lands one week after Lollapalooza India at the same venue, making late January a big month for live music at Mahalaxmi.
Line-up
- Foo Fighters (headliner)
- The Pretty Reckless and Die Spitz
- Indian acts Still In Therapy and Mali
How to reach Mahalaxmi Racecourse
By local train
Take a Western Railway slow local to Mahalaxmi station, the closest railway stop to the racecourse. The show is on a Sunday, when locals run on the holiday timetable with fewer services, and planned megablocks are common; check before you travel. See our Mumbai local train guide for routes and timings.
By metro
Metro Line 3 (Aqua Line) has stations at Mahalaxmi and Science Museum, both a short walk from the racecourse. The metro closes earlier than the local trains, so check the last departure for your route before the show.
By road
Roads around Mahalaxmi, Haji Ali and Jacob Circle jam up badly on concert nights and parking near the gates is restricted. If you take a cab, get dropped a short walk away instead of waiting in the queue of cars.
