Currently, only Mumbai Metro Line 1 (Blue Line) is operational in Mumbai, which covers the metro route from Versova to Ghatkopar. The Metro Corridor is 11.4 KM in length and fully elevated. This metro corridor consists of 12 stations that connect the eastern and western suburbs of Mumbai. Mumbai Metro Line 1 is operated by Mumbai Metro One Private Limited, which is a joint venture between Reliance Infrastructure (74%) and Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) (26%).
Before you leave to catch the metro train, it would be convenient to know the train schedule way before you plan your travel. Since the metro train on line 1 does not run 24 hours a day, you need to know the timings for the first train and last train for the day.
