About Metro Line 12
Why Line 12 matters
Kalyan, Dombivli and Taloja are among the fastest-growing areas of the Mumbai region, but there is no direct rail link between them. Today, most people travel by road on the busy Shil Phata – Kalyan stretch, which can take an hour or more. Line 12 will cut the trip to about 45 minutes and connect Kalyan – Dombivli with the Navi Mumbai Metro at Amandoot in Kharghar.
