Mukesh Ambani Receives Death Threat, Demand for Rs 20 Crores via Email; Mumbai Police Registers Case

Mumbai, India – In a shocking incident, Mukesh Ambani, the renowned chairman of Reliance Industries, found himself at the center of a chilling email threat. An unidentified individual sent an email demanding a whopping sum of Rs 20 crore while threatening to take Ambani’s life. The Mumbai police swiftly responded to this grave situation, registering a case of extortion and criminal intimidation.

The distressing email was delivered to one of the company’s email addresses late on a Friday evening. The matter was reported promptly to the Gamdevi police station, prompting an immediate investigation.

According to the police officials involved, the anonymous sender ominously stated, “If you don’t give us Rs 20 crore, we will kill you, we have the best shooters in India.” Such a grave threat has sent shockwaves through the community and has raised serious concerns for Ambani’s safety.

Simultaneously, the crime branch officials have initiated a parallel investigation to intensify their efforts in identifying and capturing the culprit behind this brazen threat.

The police are diligently scrutinizing the details of the sender’s email ID, with a keen focus on identifying the suspect through the IP address. An officer confidently stated, “We are on the right track, and we will soon apprehend the sender.”

This is not the first time that Mukesh Ambani has faced such a dire situation. In October 2022, a 30-year-old man from Darbhanga district in Bihar was arrested for allegedly issuing death threats to Ambani and his family members. Such incidents underscore the need for increased security and vigilance for high-profile individuals in our society.
