CIDCO, the City and Industrial Development Corporation, has taken the first step towards turning Kharghar into a bustling business center called the International Corporate Park (ICP). This project is strategically located just 14 kilometers away from the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMAI).
Protecting the Area from Unauthorized Use
CIDCO’s initial move in this big project is to protect the vast piece of land allocated for the International Corporate Park. To do this, they’ve invited bids for the construction of a substantial compound wall worth approximately โน11. 3 crore. This wall will surround the entire area planned for the corporate park, covering various sectors in Kharghar.
Setting the Stage for Growth
Securing the area is crucial because it has experienced unauthorized construction in the past. The 2. 4-meter-tall compound wall will act as a protective barrier for the future ICP site. It’s expected to take about two years to complete and marks the beginning of extensive development work planned for the area.
