Mumbai Metro Line 4A (Green Line): Stations, Route Map, Status, & Timeline

Line Status:

Mumbai Metro Line 4A – Green Line (Kasarvadavali – Gaimukh) metro corridor is 2.88 KM fully Elevated and consists 2 stations from Kasaravadavali – Gaimukh.

Metro corridor 4A is an extension of the Metro line 4 plan. Initially, Metro line 4 was planned to run the metro line between Wadala and Kasarvadavali. Later, the state government decided to extend the metro line until Gaimukh.

Indeed, the government had the plan to connect Gaimukh into a transport hub such that the commuters could easily connect to Thane, Mira-Bhayander, and Kalyan on the planned metro line stretch.

Moreover, demand from these areas is more, and presently commuters rely only on road connectivity. The official colour for the metro route stretch for metro lines 4, 4A, and 10 is Green and is called Mumbai Metro Green Line.

The Metro Line 4A is expected to bring additional ridership of about 1.5 lakh to 8.7 lakh commuters for the Wadala- Kasaravadavali Metro-4 corridor.

After successfully implementing the metro green line and red line, Residents from the Western suburbs, Thane, Kalyan, and other suburbs can reach their respective destinations without switching to different transportation modes.
